Working in Cambodia

Cambodia is changing fast and there are many opportunities for new businesses. Many foreigners have already set up a new business and have invested a lot of money into it. However, many of them are also unsuccessful, because they have not done enough research or thought about what it will be like living in another country which is very different to their own.

If you are considering setting up a new business in Cambodia, it is a very good idea to spend some time finding out where to meet other foreigners and asking them to share some of their experiences with you. They will no doubt tell you that it can be very tough at times, particularly during the low season when there are less tourists around. You will need a lot of motivation and determination but, if you do your research, it is possible to do very well in Cambodia and make a comfortable living.
